Logistics Duties.
| Customer Service. | |||||||||||||
| To understand and practice the concept of Internal & External Customer Service. | |||||||||||||
| To take specific actions to enable the Conpany to actually provide excellence in Customer Service | |||||||||||||
| To Practice effective feedback and communications to all parties concerned. | |||||||||||||
| Quality | |||||||||||||
| Reach, understand, implement and compny with the Quality Assurance Manual, which describes in details the systems and Procedures(ISO,HACCP,GMP or any other system in force at Meaders Feeds Ltd) in force & to ensure the effective & visible application of the concepts enunciated therein. | |||||||||||||
| To actively participate in the continious imporvement programs of the company. | |||||||||||||
| Logistics | |||||||||||||
| To ensure a cost effective utilization of the fleet of bulk delivery trucks by having a well-planned delivery scheduled to customers. | |||||||||||||
| To ensure that all expense items in relation to trucks are closely monitored | |||||||||||||
| To ensure that the labour force is utilized in a cost-effective manner. | |||||||||||||
| To monitor and control the cost of delivery per Metric Ton. | |||||||||||||
| To ensure that the mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems of lorries are checked and controlled on a regular basis and that preventive maintenance is carried out on all trucks. | |||||||||||||
| To ensure that the routing of ALL trucks is precisely defined on a map and all drivers scrupulously follow that same. | |||||||||||||
| To ensure the follow up of lorries from the FROTCOM system in place and to generate comprehensive reporting on a daily basis. | |||||||||||||
| To liaise with production to have the feeds ready with a lead-time to ensure maximum number of deliveries per day. | |||||||||||||
| To ensure a very high level of sanitation and bio-security of all trucks, and the conduct of the personnel during their contact with the customers. | |||||||||||||
| To ensure that ALL delivery personnel adhere to the code of conduct in place when they perform their work on the road, at Meaders Feeds Ltd, and when they are at the customers sites. | |||||||||||||
| To transmit the verified information in writing to all departments concerned with special mention to Accounts and Quality departments. | |||||||||||||
| To ensure that the systems & procedures are scrupulously adhered to concerning the use of seals. | |||||||||||||
| To ensure that the Logbook in all trucks are kept updated and readily available for checks & controls. | |||||||||||||
| To visit suppliers & customers in view of obtaining first-hand information on the level of service being provided | |||||||||||||
| Import & Export Formalities | |||||||||||||
| To Liase with customer broker, transporters and the store Department Concerning all the Incoming and Outgoing of Goods in order to work in the interest of the company | |||||||||||||
| To comply with all formalities as per the requirements of the authorities concerning the import and export activities | |||||||||||||
