Linen Attendant

LUX* Resorts & Hotels is hiring for the position of Linen Attendant for LUX* Grand Gaube.

The successful applicant will be responsible to :                                                                                                  

1) Help and assist the Laundry Operator in executing various linen and  laundry operations.                                                                                                                                                   

2) Perform basic sewing operations to repair linen, uniforms and laundry items when necessary.

3) Ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of Guests' laundry.                                                             

4) Participate in delivering excellent service to our Guests .                                                     

5) Inspect cleanliness of articles  removed from the washer , dryer and place in linen carts.                                                                                                                                                      

6) Keep all linen neat, organised and cleaned.                                                                                 

7) Assist the Houskeeping Attendants with necessary linen needed. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

1) Secondary schooling with at least Form III Level. 

EXPERIENCES:

1) Previous working experience in Laundry Operations preferably in the hospitality industry is essential.

1) High level of integrity.

2) Passionate about service.

3) Creative and innovative skills.                                                  

4) Highly responsible and reliable.                                             

5) Ability to work under pressure.   

6) Good verbal and written communication skills 

7) Willingness to work  during odd hours, weekends as well as on Public Holidays.                                                                                                             

8) A clean certificate of character is a must.
