We are looking for a Cook with a minimum of 1 year of experience to work for a restaurant situated in the South Southwest Region of the Island. Working hours are as follows: Summertime: 8:45 am - 5:45 pm Wintertime: 8:00 - 5:30 pm Basic Salary: Rs 10 000
Responsibilities:
1. Assist Cook in routine activities
2. Prepare cooking ingredients (prep works)
3. Assist in cooking of food
4. Maintain kitchen (including workstations, equipment, utensils) in clean and orderly condition
5. Wash used kitchenware and utensils
6. Help in monitoring food stock
7. Ensure proper disposal of kitchen wastes
8. Maintain good hygiene practices and follow health & safety procedures
9. Work as a team with other kitchen/restaurant staff
10. Perform other kitchen duties as assigned
Candidate Profile:
1. Experience in kitchen
2. Knowledge of food preparation and presentation
3. Ability to work under pressure
4. Working knowledge of kitchen equipment
5. Good physical conditions
6. Certificate in Food Production
7. Hardworking & Serious
