Junior Quality Controller

The role of the Junior Quality Controller is to make sure completed work and/or work in progress meets the requirements of the plans and specifications and quality required.

Duties

• Inspect completed work and/or work in progress to determine whether the work meets specifications and plan requirements.
• Verify, test, or measure materials or products being produced such as Wood works, Aluminium works, Steel products, etc.
• Recommend adjustments to the assembly or production process.
• Report any anomalies, products faulty and materials that fail to meet specifications to the Head of Production.
• Ability to read, analyse blueprints and technical drawings for materials prior to production.
• Monitor overall construction performance with regard to technical quality and compliance with design and specification requirements.
• Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures.
• Any other cognate duties related to Quality Control.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma in QC or any relevant qualifications.
• A minimum of 2-3 years hands on work experience preferably in a construction company.
• Relevant training in quality control provided at technical institutions.
• An eye for details.
• Good communication skills both verbal and written in English and French.
