Duties
- Inspect completed work and/or work in progress to determine whether the work meets specifications and plan requirements.
- Verify, test, or measure materials or products being produced such as Wood works, Aluminium works, Steel products, etc.
- Recommend adjustments to the assembly or production process.
- Report any anomalies, products faulty and materials that fail to meet specifications to the Head of Production.
- Ability to read, analyse blueprints and technical drawings for materials prior to production.
- Monitor overall construction performance with regard to technical quality and compliance with design and specification requirements.
- Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures.
- Any other cognate duties related to Quality Control.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma in QC or any relevant qualifications.
- A minimum of 2-3 years hands on work experience preferably in a construction company.
- Relevant training in quality control provided at technical institutions.
- An eye for details.
- Good communication skills both verbal and written in English and French.
