Junior Database Administrator

The role of the Junior Database Administrator will be to actively participate in the ownership and management of all business applications databases of the group.

Responsibilities

-Responsible for the performance, security and integrity of ERP databases

-Install, optimise and monitor SQL databases and Test SQL Failover

-Implement SQL maintenance plans

-Develop and manage database back-up and recovery plan

-Develop SQL interfaces using SSIS tool

-Deliver all tasks associated with the implementation cycle of BI Solutions

-Aggregate data in an efficient data warehouse and design enterprise-level solutions for very large multidimensional databases

-Be responsible for project implementation as assigned by the Project Lead

-Act as an advisor for end-user support 

Candidate Profile 

-Degree holder in Information System, Computer Science or other related field

-A first experience in a similar position

-Some knowledge and understanding of SQL  Administration, Advanced Stored Procedures, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, RDBM (good theoretical knowledge)

-Good system analysis and problem solving skills

-Ability to manage time and client efficiently

-Ability to cope with multiple projects and products at the same time

-Good communication skills and fluent in both English and French
