BDO Solutions is looking for a Junior Data Operator for its Legal Process Outsourcing Team.
Job Description
The legal process outsourcing team performs routine maintenance and management of intellectual property management portfolio (such as trademarks and patents). Their main task is to extract all the required information from the client’s Data Management System (DMS), process them and thereafter produce individual reports.
Common tasks that we currently do are:
- Extract relevant information from documents, such as filing date and application number, class specifications, owner name, address, references and input them on the software.
- Review information such as the class specifications, owner name and address and standing instructions as per documents received and ensure they have been properly recorded on the system and check for discrepancies between client documents and official documents.
- Prepare error log of discrepancies to be given to client.
- Prepare and finalise invoices
- Prepare daily reporting and submit to supervisor
The successful candidate should meet the following criteria:
- HSC
- Good communication skills in English
- Familiar with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Ability to work at odd hours, if required
- Good analytical skills
- Quick Learner
- Experience in administrative work will be an advantage
- Ability to work in team
