Looking for Junior Accountant who forms an integral part of the Corporate Clients service centre, bringing together the skills, systems, processes and procedures relating to Corporate Client accounting.
Outline of main duties and responsibilities
The Junior Accountant, forms an integral part of the Corporate Clients service centre, bringing together the skills, systems, processes and procedures relating to Corporate Client accounting.
The Junior Accountant will be expected to:
- Responsible for the preparation of management accounts/financial statements/summaries with disclosure and other ad-hoc financial information
- Monthly reconciliations for all accounts and bank reconciliation as well as investment valuations including Net Assets Values
- Processing of trade, cash, income and expenses.
- Communicating with investment advisors and entering security trades.
- Maintaining accurate accounting records for a portfolio of foreign and global business companies.
Risk Management:
- Responsible for implementing and maintaining controls relevant to the position.
Profile:
- ACCA Level 1 Minimum requirements
- Minimum one year of experience in the financial sector or Management company will be an advantage
Reporting structure
The Junior Accountant, will report to the Team leader/ Manager, Corporate Secretarial and Admin Services.
