Industrial Engineer

TROPIC KNITS Group member of CIEL Textile is looking for Industrial Engineers for its Production unit. The ideal candidate will have the responsibility to optimise manufacturing components and processes toward production efficiency and elimination of wastefulness in production processes.

Job Description:

• Lead high impact projects to improve business processes, factory productivity, and IE systems across the organisation
• Utilize lean concepts including standardized work, problem solving methodologies, material handling and planning, and kaizen activities.
• Implement Right First-Time manufacturing processes throughout the factory.
• Analyse proposed changes to determine cost and impact to operations capacity
• Assist in the development and implementation of an improved facility layout
• Provide technical support to teams such as Quality, Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Planning, Sales & Marketing.

• Working knowledge of various Microsoft Office applications

Qualification Required:

• Degree in Industrial Engineer, Production and Operations Management, Mechatronics, electromechanical engineer,  Mechanical engineering, Chemical engineering or any related field
• Past experience in Textile Industry is desirable but not a pre- requisite
