The In House F&B Service Trainer ensures that all the generic training needs of the F&B department are conducted & assists the employees in improving the performance levels, considering Vision/Mission of Shanti Maurice Resort & Spa.
- Implements the training schedule and classes as per calendar.
- Designs, reviews and provides conceptual and practical inputs for competence and skill based training.
- Supervises daily shift operations and ensures compliance with Food & Beverage policies, standards and procedures.Coaches, trains and guides the team to enhance the skills of the team and ensures that established cultural and core standards are met.
- Coordinates with external trainers / internal trainers to ensure quality inputs are provided as per specifications to the F&B dept.
- Assists the HRD departments in ensuring highest standards in employee selection and confirmation.
- Personally conducts classes in key subject.
- Reviews and assesses impact of training and recommends modifications, to ensure needs are met.
- Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers.
- Ensure to comply with the grooming standard.
- Ensures attendance on behavioral and skill trainings and personally conducts key trainings for the f&b department employees.
- Uses the Sample appraisal system to review the performance of direct subordinates and determines their development needs.
- Counsels subordinates in work-related matters.
- Attends behavioral and vocational training in own and related work areas to enhance skills and develop multifunctionality.
- Performs additional duties within the F&B department and assists in the completion of administrative tasks and reports, mainly shift closing reports and handovers.
- Keeps himself/ herself updated with the latest trends and developments worldwide.
