We are currently looking for an HR officer to assist the HR Manager in the day to day running of the business. The tasks include but not limited to:
daily processing of attendance, attend to employees queries/problems, payroll processing, training, performance appraisal, expatriate management, recruitment of local and expatriate workers, inspection of dormitories, liaising with the different Ministries etc.
The candidate should preferably live in the vicinity of Port-Louis, Pointe-aux-Sables. Office hours are from 8:30 to 17:30 from Monday to Friday with 30 mins lunch break and 2 tea breaks of 10 mins.
The candidate must have at least 2 years experience in the field, with a degree in Human Resource Management from a recognised institution. Having an extensive knowledge in Labour law will be a definite advantage.
Salary will be commensurate based on experience.
Note that the company is a manufacturing company specialising in food. Hygiene and safety is of utmost importance. The environment within the factory is completely different from another company: noise and heat are present. This job is not for the faint hearted.
