We are looking for a Health and Safety Officer to faciltate compliance with safety procedures and standards.
Main Duties:
- To implement a positive health and safety culture
- To promote administrative, technical service and safe working practices
- To liaise with external safety, health and environmental organisations
- To carry out incident/accident investigations and risk assessments and prepare safety/hazard alerts
- To address the non-compliance report on hazardous situations and issue Safety Improvement Notice
- To take remedial actions to improve the organisation’s Environmental performance, ensure compliance to local regulations, standards and requirements
- To monitor and evaluate the organisation’s overall Environmental Program of New Projects
- To evaluate and recommend changes to technology equipment, systems or processes that will improve the organisation’s Environmental performance
- To coordinate meetings among different BUs on site to address safety, health and environmental issues
- To monitor and report unsafe situations and to assist in the implementation of improvements
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in the field of Occupational Health & Safety or related field
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in related field
- Driving License (Private Car)
