Cim Finance is recruiting a Head of Retail Credit and Operations who will be responsible for leading a team through the approval and monitoring of credit application; implement policies in line with company objectives whilst planning the development of staff to ensure they reach their full potential
Cim Finance is recruiting a Head of Retail Credit and Operations who will be responsible for leading a team through the approval and monitoring of decisions made regarding deals concluded by the sales team. This role will help implement credit policies in line with company standards and objectives whilst planning the development and training staff to ensure they have the skills they need to achieve their full potential.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coach, develops and motivates team.
- Build a positive team culture with strong positive engagement
- Provides periodic reports on strategy, targeted initiatives and progress to achieve business objectives
- Responsible for maintaining a body of knowledge on current and emerging best practices and processes
- Identifies and prioritizes initiatives for the company in partnership with internal stakeholders.
- Participate in formulation of company's strategy and ensure proper mechanism is in place to track performance.
- Provides guidance to business leaders on escalated issues with the view to resolve
- Anticipate and manage operational risk and devise mitigating measures.
- Develop, review and enhance systems, policies and procedures and ensure compliance with policies, standards and regulations.
- Present statistics and MIS reports to analyse trends and make appropriate recommendations
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Professional Qualification/ Degree in Economics/Business Management
- IT skills (Microsoft office)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English & French)
- Attention to detail
- Good negotiation skills and business knowledge
- Thorough understanding of Financial and Banking
- Good management/leadership skills
- At least 10 years' experience in a Banking or Financial institution in a senior managerial position
