Our client, one of the management company in Mauritius, is seeking to recruit an experienced Head of Fund Services to work in its Fund Department.

Our client, one of the management company in Mauritius, is seeking to recruit an experienced Head of Fund Services to work in its Fund Department.

Your Role & Responsibilities:

  • Prepare timely and accurate Net Assets Values, yields, distributions, and other fund accounting output for subsequent review;
  • Ensure all NAV computation, VAT, NPS, PAYE, TDS , Annual Tax Returns, FATCA and CRS forms are reviewed and filed within prescribed deadline;
  • Liaise with the regulatory and tax authorities;
  • Ensure that all entities are in compliance with all relevant laws, licensing conditions, regulations and guidelines;
  • Respond to staff questions regarding regulatory provisions;
  • Review and monitor regulatory filings for compliance issues;
  • Act as the primary contact for client inquiries, requests and ad hoc projects on compliance and treasury issues;
  • Undertake responsibility for a portfolio of the Company's clients;
  • Assist with training and support of junior staff.

Your profile:

  • At least a degree in Finance & Accounting or ACCA or equivalent;
  • A minimum of 7 years of working experience in a similar position in the Financial Services Sector (Global business, funds etc.);
  • Well versed with company laws, IFRS/IAS
  • Ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines
