LUX* Resorts & Hotels is hiring for the position of Head Cost Controller for LUX* Grand Gaube.

 

The sucessful incumbent will be responsible to :                                                                                                                                                      
1) Actively participate in the management of accounts, budget preparation and cost control of the resort.
2) Monitor the financial performance of the resort and ensure that all accounting and internal procedures are properly implemented and respected.
3) Provide the Financial Controller  with timely and accurate information on the resort’s performance as well as guidance on cost containment, revenue enhancement and profit improvement opportunities.                                                                    
4) Prepare monthly Food & Beverage report and month-end-reconciliation reports.                                                                                       
5) Maintain close working relationship with the Executive Chef, Food & Beverage Manager and Purchasing Manager and make aware of any potential problems or opportunities to improve the controls in their areas related to Food & Beverage costs.                                                                                                  
6) Highlight any potential challenges or opportunities to improve profitability to Management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1) At least High School Certificate or equivalent qualifications.                                            
2) Advanced Diploma or Degree in Accounting  from a recognised institution or equivalent qualifications.            
EXPERIENCES:
1) A minimum of 10 years of working experience preferably in the hospitality industry.
2) A minimum of 5 years of working experience as Cost Controller.

12) Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.                                      
13) Excellent knowledge of POS System and Micros.
14)Excellent knowledge of hotel operations will be a definite advantage.                                                                                                      
15)Must be a fast learner, understand and be completely knowledgeable of local applicable laws, rules and regulations.                                                                                                             
16) Ability to cope with a demanding schedule and heavy workload when necessary.
17)Excellent written and communication skills in English language.
