Handyperson (Electrician)

To undertake a variety of tasks relating to setting up and maintaining electrical infrastructure. The job involves installing electrical wiring in the hotel, troubleshooting malfunctions and blackouts.

• Execute plans of electrical wiring for well functioning of lighting, intercom and other electrical systems;
• Install electrical apparatus, fixtures and equipment and other systems;
• Install safety and distribution components
• Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks ensuring compatibility of components;
• Prevent breakdown of systems by routinely inspecting and replacing old wiring and insulated cables, cleaning circuits;
• Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or substitute damaged units

• High levels of integrity;
• Proven experience as electrician;
• Willingness to work during odd hours, weekends as well as public holidays;
• A clean certificate of character is a must.
