General Foreman

To coordinate construction works according to work plans and set deadlines

 

Main duties:

  • Review manpower and materials requirements and plan accordingly
  • Set work schedules and monitor attendance of team members
  • Allocate general and daily responsibilities and monitor performance
  • Monitor progress of work to ensure project is completed according to specifications, within allotted time frame and in compliance with quality standards.
  • Supervise and train workers on site
  • Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met
  • Monitor expenditure and ensure set budget is respectedReport on site progress to Site/Contracts Manager

 Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma in Building Construction
  • At least 7 years of proven working in construction industry as GF
  • Computer literate
  • Prior experience in turnkey projects would be an advantage

Other Requisites

  • Effective project management skills
  • Excellent planning, organizing and leadership skills
  • Capable of working well under pressure and independently to meet tight deadlines
