Garment Technologist

World Knits Ltd is recruiting a Garment Technologist on a full-time basis for its Head Office, at Vuillemin, Quartier-Militaire.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Support Designer, Merchandising, Sample and Production team through all stages of the product; from the development of Customer Tech Pack to manufacture

- Analyse Customer Tech Pack and suggest any modification to designers to enable better production efficiency

- Ensure style is feasible and discuss with Production Team

- Prepare technical sketch and give detailed construction methods

- Ensure that the Pattern Maker has the correct spec to work from

- Fill in customer's spec and update sample measurements in respective web sites or work book

- Oversee fabric testing

- Carry out fit assessment of samples at every stage of sample process up to production pre-shipment sample

- Ensure update of Technical sketches/spec as per customers comments at every stage of sample

- Create measurement sketch for all styles sent to other factories

- Ensure that customer's requirements are adhered to

- Handle any customer complaints or issues

Experience:

- University degree in Fashion Technology or Fashion Design

- Experience in a similar post would be an advantage

- Experience in Pattern Making and on Lectra software would be an advantage
