Reporting to the Managing Director, this position will ensure the management of the Finance, Administrative and HR teams.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Verification and authorisation of financial statements
Ensure that the financial statements are prepared according to International Accounting standards & IFRS
Verification and authorisation of all monthly & annual regulatory returns.
Verification of computation and follow-up on Capital Allowances.
Liaise with auditors, authorities and other financial partners.
Review of monthly accounts and financial forecast.
Presentation of Ad hoc reports to Management.
Determination of Profit and Support Units.
Preparation of annual budget for Units and consolidated budget for the Group.
Determination of basis for cost allocation to Units.
Investigation and reporting on variances of monthly actual performance against budget per Unit.
Supervise the accountancy department activities.
Monthly review and approval of reconciliation.
Authorise transactions before processing.
Approve of the correction of all discrepencies.
Review existing and propose new procedures where appropriate.
Coordinate the implementation of relevant financial reporting standards.
Profile:
Fully qualified professional (ACCA, CA, CIMA)
Proven track record of at least 5 years’ experience in a similar senior managerial role
Proven knowledge and competence in Human Resources and local labour laws.
In-depth understanding of office management procedures.
Familiarity with facilities management principles.
