Fabric Warehouse Storekeeper

DESCRIPTION Created in 1989 and a member of CIEL Textile, CDL is a fully integrated knitting, dyeing and finishing mill located in Forest Side. With a workforce over 400, CDL produces fabric for the fine knits garment-making industry.

CDL is currently looking for a Fabric Warehouse Storekeeper to coordinate general warehouse operations and activities including conducting stock checks, and documenting warehouse transactions and storage of inventory.

The Fabric Warehouse Storekeeper shall be reporting to the Warehouse In Charge.

 What you will be doing:

• Ensure 100% perpetual inventory in the dyed fabric stock and delivery of dyed fabric stock as per agreed date
• Ensure effective communication to concerned dept. (Planning , Marketing and Finishing)
• Ensure quantity and batch delivered / received are as per purchase order
• Ensure that labelling and packaging are in good conditions and data entry on system is completed in time
• Ensure WIP management and all anomalies for non-conformance batches and WIP issues reported with action plan

What are we looking for?

• Minimum SC/HSC
• Computer Literate (Excellent use of excel including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP)
• At least 1 year of experience in storekeeping, inventory control, or recordkeeping
• Keen attention to detail and ability to effectively manage time
• Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
• Familiarity with standard concepts and best practices in a stockroom or warehouse environment
• Analytical mind with ability to make accurate mathematical computations
• Physical ability to frequently lift and carry materials weighing up to 23Kg
• Ability to work on shift system
