Engineering Technician

The United Basalt Products Ltd is seeking to recruit a passionate and organized Engineering Technician for its PPB department at Geoffroy, involved in the manufacture of pre stressed & precast slabs and lintels.

Key responsibilities

•  Prepare detailed structural engineering drawings
• Ensure proper detailing of PPB panels for manufacturing
• Collaborate to design PPB products
• Assist in preparation of quotations and provide technical advice
• Monitor the production and delivery of products
• Effect site and follow up visits at customers

Candidate profile

• School Certificate and Brevet de Technicien Supérieur (BTS) or equivalent
• Experience of at least 2 years’ in a similar post, preferably in a Design Office
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively on technical subjects
• Proficiency in MsOffice and AutoCAD
• Creative problem solver with capacity to multitask
• ‘Can Do’ Attitude, detail-conscious, good organizational skills and entrepreneurial ability are essential
