Distribution Supervisor
Duties & Responsibilities
•Supervise day to day operations of the Distribution Department
•Ensure KPI are defined, managed & communicated regularly
•Ensure proper organization of back up / absence & of peak period preparation
•Maintain accurate record keeping, and prepare relevant reports / data as required by management
•Receive and organize information concerning orders to be delivered
•Optimize loading (maximize LBs and labor force, minimize loading LT and risks for Grays)
•Ensure deliveries match the request (date, product, quantity)
•Ensure vehicles leave Grays as early as possible, according to planning
•Minimize cost of distribution
•Maximize GPS utilization to optimize the routes & monitor the activity
•Ensure proper stock taking in trucks & reconciliation (min 1 per month, including empty bottles)
•Maximize employees’ efficiency, and coach and develop team
•Provide input on the evaluation of employee performance, and ensure employee discipline
•Ensure proper recommendations: for renewal or maintenance of the fleet - for budget needs (racks, transpalettes) - for finetune C&D cadentier - for potential improvements and risks for the Company
Education/Experience
•Minimum HSC. Diploma/Certificate in Logistics is a plus
•3 years minimum in Delivery Operations
•IT and Communication skills
•Ability to deal with complexity and to adapt to the changing needs of the business
