LUX* Chongzuo, Guangxi (74 Keys) is located in the Mingshi Village, Daxin County in Chongzuo City about 37 kilometres away from the well-known Detian Transnational Waterfall and about 210 kilometres away from the capital city of Guangxi Zhuang, an autonomous region in southern China.

LUX* Chongzuo, Guangxi is projected to open in two phases and the first phase will be in January 2021.

The Director of Sales & Marketing will play a key role in leading, coordinating, developing and implementing all sales, marketing and communication strategies for LUX* Chongzuo in order to increase property awareness and visibility in China and globally.

The job incumbent will be responsible to maximise business opportunities through appropriate commercial initiatives subsequently contributing to growing the revenue of the resort.

The Director of  Sales & Marketing will report to the General Manager and will work in close collaboration with the Senior Vice President- Commercial while supporting the LUX* Cast in China.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Tertiary Education at Degree level Majoring in Sales & Marketing or equivalent qualifications from a recognised institution.
  • Postgraduate qualifications in Sales, Marketing and/or Business Administration.

PREVIOUS PERFORMANCE

  • A minimum of 10 years of working experience in Sales and/or Marketing in the hospitality industry at managerial level.
  • Excellent command of China as a tourist destination.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • High levels of integrity and confidentiality.
  • Passionate about service.
  • Creative and innovative.
  • Outstanding customer service skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of the local market and domestic tourism in Guangxi region and vicinity.
  • Responsible for enhancing the top line revenue.
  • Excellent commercial acumen with experience in increasing profitability.
  • Excellent knowledge in strategic planning and execution, contracting, negotiating and management.
  • Experience in planning marketing strategies, advertising campaigns and successful public relations.
  • Excellent knowledge of structuring quota goals and revenue expectations.
  • Strong ability to manage distribution channels.
  • Strong interpersonal, organisational, time management and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Mandarin and English languages. 
  • Willingness to work during odd hours, weekends as well as on public holidays.
  • A clean certificate of character is a must.
