LUX* Chongzuo, Guangxi (74 Keys) is located in the Mingshi Village, Daxin County in Chongzuo City about 37 kilometres away from the well-known Detian Transnational Waterfall and about 210 kilometres away from the capital city of Guangxi Zhuang, an autonomous region in southern China.

LUX* Chongzuo, Guangxi is projected to open in two phases and the first phase will be in January 2021.

Reporting to the General Manager, the Director of Finance will be responsible to oversee the smooth and efficient day to day operations of the Finance department whilst actively participating in the management of accounts, budget preparation and control.

The Director of Finance will also be responsible to monitor the financial performance of the resort and ensure that all accounting and internal procedures are properly implemented and respected.

In addition to the above, the incumbent will provide the General Manager and the Management team with timely and accurate information on the resort’s performance as well as guidance on cost containment, revenue enhancement and profit improvement opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Tertiary Education at Degree Level majoring in Account related fields from a recognised institution or equivalent qualifications.
  • Must be a Certified Chartered Accountant (ACCA).

PREVIOUS PERFORMANCE

  • A minimum of 10 years of working experience in Accounting and Audit environment.
  • A minimum of 3 years of working experience in a similar position or as Assistant Director of Finance preferably in the hospitality industry.

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
  • Ability to act as Duty Manager as and when required.
  • Excellent knowledge of hotel operations is a definite asset.
  • Must be a fast learner, understand and be completely knowledgeable of local applicable laws, rules and regulations.
  • Ability to cope with a demanding schedule and heavy workload when necessary.
  • Excellent written and communication skills in English language. Knowledge of Mandarin language will be a definite advantage.
  • A clean certificate of character is a must.
