LUX* Chongzuo, Guangxi (74 Keys) is located in the Mingshi Village, Daxin County in Chongzuo City about 37 kilometres away from the well-known Detian Transnational Waterfall and about 210 kilometres away from the capital city of Guangxi Zhuang, an autonomous region in southern China.

LUX* Chongzuo, Guangxi is projected to open in two phases and the first phase will be in January 2021.

Reporting to the General Manager of LUX* Chongzuo, the incumbent will be responsible for the management of the Maintenance department and its activities to ensure optimal operational effectiveness as well as to promote a safe environment across the resort’s premises to all Team Members and Guests.

The Director of Engineering will actively participate in the development and coordination of preventive maintenance measures related to Guest rooms, public areas, back of the house as well as for mechanical equipment and the building system.

Additionally, the ideal candidate will also be responsible to ensure that the resort’s premises and its building systems are adequately maintained to the best possible standards to preserve its maximum value and extend the asset life of the property.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree majoring in Engineering from a recognised institution or equivalent qualifications.
• Qualifications in Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design will be an advantage.
• Postgraduate qualifications would be a definite advantage.

PREVIOUS PERFORMANCE

• A minimum of 10 years of working experience in the hospitality industry at senior managerial position in the engineering field.
• A minimum of 5 years of working experience as Head of Engineering department.
• Excellent command of process control techniques and maintenance procedures.
• Prior experience with regulatory and documentation requirements related to engineering codes and standards.
