Design Support Officer

Aquarelle Clothing Ltd is looking for a dynamic candidates who will be willing to work as a Design Support Officer

Responsibilities: 

• Maintain all charts, reports related to product development process 
• Track fabric, lab dips, and trim requests. 
• Build product information and enter data into system 
• Once styles have been selected, complete and provide, tech packs and spec sheets (BOM) to factories for accurate pricing. 
• Communicate daily with overseas offices and factories and updated BOMs accordingly for all pre-production styles on order 
• Develop and maintain strong cross-functional relationships with design, tech, and production in regards to changes / discrepancies / approvals etc. 
• Communicate and understand any potential production issues with vendors or internally
• Review print/ lab dips to meet seasonal color standards 
• Measure and track supplier performance in terms of color matching, submit turn time, color quality and communication 

Required Skills:

• HSC (or any equivalent from a recognized educational institution) 
• CERTIFICATE IN ADMINISTRATIVE SECRETARIAL DUTIES can be a bonus point
• 3 years of technical apparel experience preferred 
• Working knowledge of apparel development, design, fabric and/or textile experience is required 
• Good communication skills 
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Outlook 
• Experienced in Excel, tech packs and technical communication in relationship to apparel development. 
• Can manage quick timelines efficiently and independently 
• Flexible, organized and adaptable to the changing needs of the business 
• Strong communication skills 
• Works well under a high-pressure environment 
• Extremely detail oriented 
• Comfortable with working odd hours to achieve deadlines
