Design Manager - (1750-DMGR)

The Design Manager is responsible for leading the team of design engineers and CAD technicians for completion of ongoing projects and design inputs on proposals as per clients' and internal requirements on cost, quality, quantity and time.

Responsibilities:

. Supervise the work of the design engineers, monitoring work progress, mentoring, training & development of the team.

. Work in close contact with the COO for reporting progress status and for other departmental decisions and preparation of budget

. Responsible of turning the Design Department into a profit centre.

. Ensure timely delivery and completion of design inputs/drawings/specifications/technical details/bill of quantities for ongoing projects and proposals.

. Ensure proper validation and approval of technical drawings for ongoing projects and proposals.

. Provide design inputs and advice on design complexity and technical specifications.

. Assist the COO in leading and managing the design office.

. Ensure timely resolution for all queries/clarifications raised during project execution and delivery.

. Work closely with the Project Administration/Project Manager and Proposal Teams for timely completion of design related tasks.

. Deal with employee issues.
