Linkopia Mauritius Ltd is looking for a creative Content Marketing Manager to join its Digital Marketing Department.
Our ideal candidate is a creative marketing professional, preferably with a writing background who should be able to develop engaging content to attract and retain customers.
Among the essential functions, the candidate should be able to expand our client’s digital footprint and brand awareness
Responsibilities:
Essential Functions:
Take full responsibility of our inbound marketing strategies including social media, blogs and lead generation/nurturing
Be up-to-date with new technologies and marketing trends
Accountable for all content marketing initiatives to drive traffic, engagement, leads, that deliver sales and customer retention
Collaborates across functions to deliver an effective content marketing strategy and editorial plan to meet the business objectives
Editorial requirements include basic SEO understanding, content categorization and structure, content development, distribution and measurement
Development of editorial guideline so that content is consistent with our brand voice, style and tone
Channel management of digital content hubs and all supporting social channels including email / newsletter distribution
Understand the basic best practices of the main social media channels, which content and approaches work on each and why
Team Leadership:
Effectively manage employee performance including ongoing coaching, development and performance evaluations. Conduct regular meetings with team members to discuss and review performance and career development
Responsible for overall team direction, performance, and work assignments (may include cross-site responsibility)
Ensure all team members understand their priorities and responsibilities
Project Management:
Implement and drive process improvement initiatives/efforts at the Team or functional level
Seek out, share, and implement best practices
Work with other team leads on strategic initiatives and resource management
Lead change management initiatives and facilitate adoption of new production processes and tools
Requirements:
Minimum 1-3 years a in similar position
Degree holder in Marketing/Communication/Journalism or relevant field
Ability to analyze and present content and social performance
Experience creating content for the web and growing a social audience
Experience with CMS (wordpress), Google analytics, and major social channels
Project management skills and understanding how to manage the priorities of multiple stakeholders in a complex environment and focus on the delivery of results in the form of engagement, leads and sales
Strong leadership and people management skills
Comfortable communicating with multiple levels in the organization
Excellent analytical problem solving and organizational skills
Works well in a team environment with the ability to lead cross-functional teams
