Compliance Officer

Linkopia (Mauritius) Ltd a Well-established company, in the financial sector, is looking for suitable candidates for the post of Compliance Officer.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Check and review customers’ KYC documents.
• Persuade clients to send their compliance documents.
• Acts as an independent body to ensure that compliance Issues/concerns within the organization are being appropriately evaluated, investigated and resolved.
• Provides and analyze reports on a regular basis as directed or requested by senior management.
• Establishes and provides direction and management of the compliance Hotline.
• Institutes and maintains an effective compliance communication program for the organization, including promoting (a) use of the Compliance Hotline; (b) heightened awareness of Standards of Conduct, and (c) understanding of new and existing compliance issues and related policies and procedures.
• Working on new compliance procedures
• Liaise with our different affiliates abroad

REQUIREMENTS:

• Has a notion of compliance.
• Knowledge about KYC (Know your Client) and AML.
• Experience with compliance monitoring systems for use in monitoring and reporting account activity.
• Excellent interpersonal skills--ability to interact with all levels of staff including senior management.
• Ability to work in team
• Is flexible and able to work Night-Shift & at least one weekend per month.
• Computer literate
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Attention to details and accuracy
• Excellent communication and good planning skills
