RESPONSIBILITIES
• Ensure the smooth running of the Coffee Lounge
• Supervise and support the baritas working in the coffee lounge, so as to effectively and safely discharge the outlet’s aims and objectives.
• Prepare and serve hot or cold beverages in a fast and efficient manner.
• Greet all customers with friendly and personalized service.
• Respond proactively to prevent customer service situations.
• Ensure that the coffee lounge is sufficiently stocked to meet demand, stock awaiting sale is kept at optimum condition and wastage is minimised and recorded.
• Ensure the coffee machines are in good working order and maintained on a regular basis.
• Be responsible for the cleanliness of the coffee lounge area.
• Accurately ring sales orders into cash register.
• Be responsible for health and safety in the coffee lounge area and reports potential safety hazards to the Assistant FNB Manager.
• Report directly to the Assistant FNB Manager of any operational inconsistencies.
• Ensure full compliance with the terms of any Management systems such as ISO 22000.
• Responsible for the Opex inventory of the coffee lounge.
• Assist the F&B manager in recruitment and training of staff in the Coffee lounge.
• Responsible for the planning of coffee lounge staff (Roster on a weekly basis).
• Any other cognate duties as delegated by Reporting Line.
PROFILE
• HSC Holder
• At least 5 years experience in Hotel Industry in a supervisory role, preferably in a 4* Hotel.
• Outgoing Personality
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills both English and French
• Impeccably groomed
• Customer-oriented
• Good Leadership skills
