CSR Manager / Assistant CSR Manager

The Manager will have a good overall view and understanding of the needs of Esquel (Mauritius) Ltd, the CSR strategy and how the strategy points can be met. He / She will be a champion of the CSR initiatives and will liaise with external stakeholders such as auditors.

Requirements

• Degree holder in Social or Environmental Sciences, Corporate Social Responsibility or or related field.
• Experience in CSR / compliance relevant positions
• Factory/Manufacturing background would be a definite advantage
• Strong business ethics and high level of integrity.
• Mature and strong interpersonal and communication skills
• High level of integrity

 Responsibilities

• Review and monitor social compliance / sustainability performance;
• Coordinate, plan and implement on site social compliance audit
• Deal with 3rd party auditors and/or customers CSR counterpart for their conducting factory audit;
• Develop SOPs and policies and offer training to enhance the compliance standards
• Prepare and keep the documentation related to factory audit and compliance;
• Ensure the factory compliance with social ethics, quality, health and safety requirements
• Contribute to the development, management and implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategies and programs.
