We are looking for an experienced CNC Supervisor to manage the machining operations of our production department. The successful candidate would need to be well organized, able to work without supervision and to tight deadlines.

We are looking for an experienced CNC Supervisor to manage the machining operations of our production department. The successful candidate would need to be well organized, be able to work without supervision and to tight deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Minimum SC Qualification
  • MITD/ Lycee Polytechnique Diploma would be an advantage

Experience

  • 3-5 years experience as a CNC Operator/Team leader.
  • Experience managing a production team would be an advantage.
  • Technical experience is essential

Skills Requirements and Characteristics

  • Technical skills – ability to grasp technical concepts quickly.
  • Leadership and interpersonal skills – be able to resolve team issues decisively.
  • Problem solving skills – ability to solve technical and other problems swiftly.
  • IT and numerical skills
  • Attention to detail ensuring high level of quality outputs
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • planning and organising production schedules
  • assessing project and resource requirements
  • ensuring that health and safety regulations are met
  • overseeing production processes
  • re-negotiating timescales or schedules as necessary
  • organising the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment
  • supervising the work of the team

Technical Responsibilities

  • Translate the requirements of detailed part drawings into measurements for production
  • Perform proper set-up and calibration procedures for all equipment and accessories to be used on projects
  • Ensure that every machine procedure is done in accordance with the strict guidelines of the company
  • Follow all company safety protocol
  • Inspect the work area and machines that were used during the day prior to leaving at the end of each shift.
