In line with its business development strategy, Mauritian Eagle Insurance is recruiting a Business Developer.
Job description
- Identifying new business opportunities, setting up meetings and preparing sales presentations to potential clients with a view of closing business deals.
- Maintain existing relationships in order to protect existing books of business.
- Establish and build new relationships with potential Brokers and Agents and target customers that have prospective business and support them to maximise sales potential and profitable growth.
- Work closely with underwriting department to ensure quality service and underwriting standards.
Qualifications
- Degree in Business Administration/Finance/Economic/Banking.
- Business development and marketing experience of minimum 5 years and in meeting sales targets.
Candidate profile
- Excellent interpersonal skills to develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of the Insurance industry.
