Brand Officer

We are looking for a talented professional willing to be part of a vibrant company geared towards the sustainable development of its activities.

Duties and responsibilities

• Identify the Group and its subsidiaries needs in terms of image and propose brand and design-building areas through an annual action plan.
• Implement any brand and design strategy approved by the management within the group.
• Assist in the management and enhancement of Medine’s image or reputation in the public eyes.
• Act as a guardian and ensure that any person using the image or brand of Medine has the authorization to do so as well as the right material.
• Help to ensure brand consistency for the Medine group and its subsidiaries on all platforms including signage, printed collaterals and online.
• Provide the relevant branding and image tools incl. logo, pictures and videos to relevant audiences.
• Lead photo and video shooting as per the group and subsidiaries needs and ensure the results are as per the Group standards.
• Advise on graphic strategies to apply in order to reach the targeted audience.
• Create design, concepts and sample layout based on esthetic design concepts, and that will fit the client’s needs.
• Draw charts, graphs, illustrations, newsletters, PowerPoint presentations, brochures, flyers, annual reports and other artwork for both electronic and print base.
• Think creatively to produce new ideas, concepts, graphics and layout.
• Keep up with trends and make recommendations to improve continuously the Group’s visual image.
• Provide design and direction for web and other visual communications media for the group.
• Proofread, and review design for errors before printing or publishing them.

Execute any other cognate duties as may be necessary in the circumstances and/or required by the employer.

Candidates Profile
• Degree in design, marketing or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of working experience.
• Proven experience in graphic design.
• Excellent knowledge of computerized graphic design, preferably InDesign, Photoshop, CAD & Publisher.
• Creative flair, originality and strong visual sense.
• Possess a sound knowledge and understanding of current trends in digital/ social media.
