Adecco is an International HR and Consultancy firm. Our client, in the aviation sector, is looking for a Bid Proposal Writer.

 

Our client, in the aviation sector, is looking for a Bid Proposal Writer.

Reporting to the Director of Global Training, the successful candidate will be responsible for the development of the bid proposal structure & the completion and management of the tender process, ensuring our branding & business development strategies are clearly integrated into bid proposals in a professional manner.

Main responsibilities:

  • Provide a full business development support resource for the Director of Global Training (DGT): act as her deputy, manage the bid funnel, research/compile bids & develop client marketing collateral & deal with senior clients in her absence. Accompany the DGT on selected trade visits and manage senior client contacts on her behalf when she is out of office.
  • Track the opportunities in the markets in which the Company operate to ensure all viable tenders, RFP & direct requests are identified, qualified & assessed.
  • Research, develop and create professional bid proposals which are aligned with the business development strategy, Company's brand equity, Clients requirements and industry trends.
  • Track the implementation of contracted training with Africa to ensure effective compliance with the contract terms and accurate timeous feedback to clients.
  • Manage the Bid library and administrative systems to provide responsive, professional & cost-effective client services.

Qualification:

  • Matric with a Rotor training ATPL/Instructor.
  • Matric with a Business Development diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-5 years in a Business development role in aviation or related industry.
  • Alternatively, 2-4 years in an aviation training/operations role with a proven propensity for in client relationship management.

Candidate profile:

  • Excellent communicator with proven business development aptitude;
  • Excellent literacy skills, with an extensive vocabulary;
  • Deadline driven and effective time management skills;
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload;
  • Thrive in a busy environment;
  • Managing a number of overlapping work streams;
  • The ability to work as a team to get accurate, high quality information from all bid stakeholders in order to produce bid collateral is essential.
