The Assistant Storekeeper assists the Head Storekeeper in managing all the operations in the storeroom.
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Assistant Storekeeper to support the Storekeeper in managing inventory and ensuring the efficient operation of our storage and warehouse facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain receipts, records, and withdrawals of the stockroom.
- Receive, unload, and shelves supplies – on receipt of goods, raise GIC/GRN for recording.
- Perform other stock-related duties, including returning, packing for overseas sales.
- Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies; report those to accounting for reimbursements and record keeping.
- Ensure adequate record keeping and manage all documentation to confirm proper stock levels and maintain inventory control.
- Performs perpetual stock counts.
Qualifications:
- SC
- At least 2 years in storekeeping
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
