Taskwork Services Ltd is recruiting an Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Surveyor/Estimator in Interior Fit-Out Contracting

  JOB DESCRIPTION

1)     The preparation of quotations and tenders for Interior Fit-Out Projects.

2)     The gathering of cost/prices from sub-Contractors and suppliers.

3)     The preparation and input of material quantities & prices in excel format for specific trades in order to generate cost per linear/square meterage and reformulate as and when necessary.

4)     The keeping and updating of job expenses and current rates.

5)     The preparation of variation cost proposals (add & omit) during work-in-progress.

6)     The reconciliation of accounts on completion of works for the preparation of Final Statement of Accounts.

7)     The verification of invoices (progress and/or final claims) from subbies and casual workers with regards to percentage of work completed helped with thorough site survey when necessary.

8)     The reservation and ordering of materials and equipment.

9)     The attending of meetings with client’s consultants for post tender cost clarifications.

10) The attending of meetings with client’s consultants for variation cost proposals as well as preparation of final accounts.

11) The planning of procurement dates for ordering of materials and equipment from foreign suppliers.

12) To request and obtain from Client’s consultants, pre-tender detailed information to ensure cost accuracy.

 CANDIDATES PROFILE

1)     Driver’s Licence

2)     Minimum 2 years’ continuous experience in similar position plus short Trainee positions.

3)     Diploma in Quantity Surveying or equivalent from Foreign or Local recognized institution.

4)     HSC/GCE or Baccalaureat.

5)     Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with excellent knowledge of excel/Power Point and word or any other quantity surveying software.
