The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Main responsibilities:
- Provide value-adding financial analysis and business partnering support to help teams meet their strategic objectives.
- Work with the offshore team to ensure timely and accurate production of reports.
- Prepare Liquidity Contingency Reports (LCR) and Net Stable Funding Reports (NSFR) for local stakeholders and regulators.
- Engage with global businesses on balance sheet management issues and provide solutions on funding in line with regional principles.
- Identify areas of opportunity for process improvements and provide support for change initiatives.
- Facilitate production of ALCM papers, relevant papers to be in line with Group guidelines.
- Oversee capital management process and ensure Risk Weighted assets are accurate and timely for business decision.
- Work with the local and regional teams to prepare the Capital Adequacy document for submission to regulators.
- Support head of ALCM in preparing adhoc reports for the CEO, businesses, and regional stakeholders.
- Successfully complete Anti-Money Laundering and Sanctions training and post-course assessment as required.
Qualification:
- Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CIMA or ACA
- Strong experience in the banking industry.
Candidate profile:
- Good business acumen and well versed in range of products and relevant terminology;
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Excel would be an advantage;
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills;
- Able to manage time and pressure whilst remaining attentive to details.
