Assisting the HRM in achieving HR Key performance Indicators whilst ensuring accurately and in a timely manner the monthly payroll

 

To manage the Payroll and other Human Resource function at Airport Hotel Ltd and to support senior management achieving set goals and objectives of the organisation by:

  •  Assisting in devising, implementing and evaluating effectiveness of HR strategies in line with the corporate values and culture
  • Assisting and advising line managers on HR issues
  • Ensuring that  rosters are in line with objectives
  • Ensuring that time and attendance are done accurately and in a timely manner
  • Ensuring that wages and salaries are done  accurately and  in a timely manner
  • Ensuring that all data regarding employees are kept as per law.
  • Ensuring that line Managers follow all HR policies and procedures set.
  • Ensuring that  the HR and  Payroll system is kept updated
  • Set up, manage and review HR systems in order to foster people performance
  • Follow up on implementation of projects
  • Devising, implementing and evaluating policies in line with the business strategies and corporate culture in order to achieve operational effectiveness
  • Set, review and update procedures in line with changing requirements
  • Ensuring  at end of each month a PNL report is being prepared  for presentation to senior management  with HR KPIs 
  • Follow up to ensure compliance to these policies and procedures by line managers and their subordinates
  • Operate and improve HR systems that monitor and maintain/improve group and individual performance (Job descriptions, organisation structure, performance management, etc…)
  • Administer and improve the performance management system
  • Operate and maintain an effective HRIS and submit regular (at least once monthly) reports/statistics on HR targets e.g absenteeism, overtime etc..
  • Supervision of the administration of leaves and absences
  • Administer, monitor and improve the reward and recognition systems (financial and non-financial) in order to motivate employees
  • Conducting regular benchmarking exercise for HR issues and assisting in making proposals to Management
  • Assisting in the  preparation of yearly departmental budget and perform monthly monitoring
  • Assisting to devise and implement a recruitment and retention strategy in a talent management strategy
  •  Assisting in  the planning of Manpower as well as carry out the exercise of recruitment and selection in line with the company’s code of conduct, policies, procedures, rules and procedures
  • Assisting the HR Manager in the evaluation and promotion exercise of employees
  •  Ensuring proper management of industrial relations with a view to maintain and foster a positive and cooperative work environment
  • Ensuring the proper functioning of the communication channels (upward and downward) between Management and employees
  • Maintaining a good working relationship and dealing with all stakeholders and institutions.
  • Advising management on industrial relations issues and disciplinary actions
  • Handling Inustrial relations issues
  • Ensuring the proper administration of existing employee benefits schemes (medical insurance, pension plan, personal accident cover and subsidised meals) and make proposals for future improvements/enhancements.   
  •  Assisting  in organising the transportation of employees as and when required
  • Ensuring follow up with the necessary authorities for getting refund for training expenses e.g HRDC
  • Ensuring registration with the necessary authorities/institutions of in-house training programmes in order to get refund as and where applicable
  • KNOWLEDGE ON VIPERTEX  WOULD BE A DEFINITE ADVANTAGE
