Responsibilities: Supervise the stewarding team. Assist the Back of House Manager in all aspects of the department and ensure standards are followed. EXPERIENCE At least 2 years experience in a similar position

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervise the stewarding team.
  • Supervise the sanitation, cleanliness, hygiene as well as the quality level of product and services.
  • Check more specifically the proper use of chemicals and washing accessories.
  • Direct and assist Stewards in order to make clean up more efficient. 
  • Assist the Back of House Manager in all aspects of the department and ensure standards are followed.
  • Ensure stewarding staff have supplies, equipment, tools and uniforms necessary to do their jobs.
  • Ensure that the Hotel operates in accordance with quality systems in place, health and safety standards, regulatory and legislative requirements
  • Any other cognate duties assigned 

EXPERIENCE

  • At least 2 years experience in a similar position
  • Flexible with strong organisational and planning skills
  • Good communication skills
