Our client, an energy services Company, is looking for an Accounts Clerk (6 months contract).
Our client, an energy services Company, is looking for an Accounts Clerk (6 months contract).
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Main responsibilities:
- Processing of accounting information on Microsoft Dynamics Navision including purchase orders, invoices, payments, bank reconciliations etc
- Assist with the preparation of monthly reporting packs as per Group reporting standards
- Assist with the cash forecast and cash management on a day to day basis
- Preparation and submission of monthly VAT returns including preparation of relevant schedules
- Perform Know Your Client procedures and inputting / creation of clients on Navision
- Assist the Finance Manager with all tax related matters
- Be up to date with technical accounting knowledge
- Preparation of annual accounts of the companies under management
- Maintaining all company files accurately and in order at all times
- Contribute to team effort to meet required objectives
- Ensure adherence to regulations locally and in other jurisdictions under management
- Liaise with external auditors, bank, company secretary, local regulatory bodies etc. as and when required and maintain good working relationship
- Assist with the expense claim process
- Assist the team with any other ad hoc duties as may be required.
Qualification:
- ACCA Level 1 / Level 2 with an experience of around 6 months
