Description
The person shall report in to the Accountant of the Organisation
Main RESPONSIBILITIES
· Processing of payment to suppliers and service providers
· Cross-checking of invoice prior to payment to ensure accuracy
· Report daily balances of the company and highlight exposures on time.
· To post transactions into the accounting system
· To perform bank and intercompany reconciliation.
· Liaise with external Auditor to ensure a clean and timely year end audit;
· Filing of statutory returns to local authority;
· Monthly audit of fixed assets and ensure completeness and accuracy of fixed assets register.
· Assist in the preparation of management accounts
· Liaising with various local authorities and banks as and when required;
· Perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of Finance.
Background requirements
- HSC with good grades in Accounting and Mathematics
- At least 3-years’ experience in Accounting.
- High Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Fluent in English and French, oral and written.
