Our client in the Investment Sector is looking for an Accountant. 

Reporting to the Group Chief Accountant., the successful candidate will be responsible for:

Duties and responsibilities

• Maintenance of the day to day transaction on the computerised accounting system;
• Preparation of monthly management accounts and ensure that proper accounting records are kept and up to date;
• Preparation of monthly and annual statutory returns;
• Preparation of annual and quarterly financial statements for the group  in compliance with IFRS;
• Preparation of budget and forecast;
• Preparation of analytical and statistical information;
• Liaising with external auditors;
• Involvement in the Treasury function (Cash flow).
• Assist the Group Chief Accountant in all related accounting function.

Qualification:

• Fully Qualified ACCA. 
• Minimium 3-5 years experience in similar position or in an audit firm;
• Fully conversant with excel/word and an accounting package.
