To assist the Logistics Coordinator to plan and coordinate drivers and vehicle assistants’ deliveries, routes and their activities within the company.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- To assist the Logistics Coordinator in managing and supervising a team of drivers and vehicle assistants in their daily duties.
- To assist the Logistics Coordinator in planning deliveries and specific routes for drivers and vehicle assistant.
- To assist the Logistics Coordinator in ensuring that scheduled delivery route are adhered with the help of GPS reports.
- To constantly monitor the GPS reports and report anomalies to Management for remedial actions.
- To ensure that orders are processed in line with customers’ delivery requirements.
- To liaise with Warehouse and Sales Department and inform customers of any delays and arrange alternative delivery dates.
- To act as a first point of contact for urgent calls, emails and messages as and when required.
- To regularly check and bring changes to drivers and vehicle assistants’ routings.
- To constantly check and enquire on customer satisfaction.
JOD REQUIREMENT & QUALIFICATIONS
- Qualifications: Minimum SC/HSC and OR any other qualification related to supply chain management/logistic.
- 3+ years of experience
- Strong knowledge of warehouse and supply chain management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
- Computer literate with capability in email, MS Office and related communication tools.
- Great time management skills.
- Private car/van Driving license and Good vehicle license will be an advantage.
