To prepare whether alcoholic or non-alcoholic cold/ hot beverages and maintain appealing display, cleanliness, order, set-up and “mise en place” of the different bars. To deliver professional and friendly service to guests as per the Hotel’s standards.
• Assists Team Members in performing “mise en place” of the bar counter, tables and in transporting goods properly.
• Neatly displays bottles, polished glasses and various decoration items on shelves.
• Prepares hot / cold beverages and mixes ingredients for cocktail preparations in accordance with the Hotel’s standards.
• Replenishes drink, cigarette dispensers and refrigerators in order to keep a minimum bar stock at hand at all times.
• Verifies availability of all food and beverages before service and takes appropriate action to replenish and/or find alternative.
• Verifies that order forms are accurately filled out by bar Team Members.
• Double checks tray before serving guest to ensure food and beverages items tally with orders.
• Monitors the expiry date of the products that are served in the bar.
• Checks at all the times that bills are accurate and signed by guests, and returned to the cashier in accordance with billing procedures.
• Forwards cash bill as soon as possible and within five minutes from receiving from bar helpers or guests.
• Follows-up on bill pending.
