JOB DESCRIPTION:

| 2 | Keep superior informed about all unusual matter concerning any plan affecting his/her area | |||||||
| 3 | Adapt to unexpected situation | |||||||
| 4 | Knowledgeable and compliant to Rules and Regulations prevaling in the Establishment | |||||||
| 5 | Assist Chef de Partie to provide on the job training to subordinates | |||||||
| 6 | Ensure guests satisfaction during services | |||||||
| 7 | Ensure the quality of food produced and served to guests are as per set standard | |||||||
| 8 | Participate actively in Eco Standard/Sustainable Responsibility set by the hotel | |||||||
| 9 | Assist Chef de Partie to establish and maintain effective employee relationship | |||||||
| 10 | Minimize wastage and breakages | |||||||
| 11 | Prepare requisitions according to requirements | |||||||
| 12 | Ensure energy saving (electricity, gas, water) | |||||||
| 13 | Comply with Quality Management System and S&H regulations and policies | |||||||
| 14 | Receive and examine work programmes from superior | |||||||
| 15 | Collect and check ordered food items from store | |||||||
| 16 | Prepare “mise-en-place” of all foodstuffs as appropriate | |||||||
| 17 | Start cooking by executing processes (fiches techniques) according to specificity of meal/pastry | |||||||
| 18 | Check and control the proper storage of products, especially those freshly produced, checking on portion control, so as to maintain product quality and quantity | |||||||
| 19 | Respect and apply SOP | |||||||
| 20 | Ensure compliance to all safety standards | |||||||
| 21 | Respect procedures for food handling purposes | |||||||
| 22 | Participate in presentation & decoration of buffet | |||||||
| 23 | Implement work schedules and ensures its application thereof by subordinates | |||||||
| 24 | Ensure Tm’s grooming is in accordance with hotel’s standards | |||||||
| 25 | Ensure the cleaning of the workplace | |||||||
| 26 | Comply with all the sustainability commitments and practices implemented within business units | |||||||
| 27 | Notify the Sustainable Development Department of any matters that may pose any impact to the environment and society | |||||||
