Job Title: Group Accountant Location: Grand Baie, Mauritius Employment Type: Full-time (On-site)

Are you an experienced, energetic, and dynamic Group Accountant looking to grow within a reputable and expanding organisation? We’re seeking a highly motivated professional to join a fast-paced finance team and support a diverse group of businesses. Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate financial records and prepare monthly trial balances, management accounts, reconciliations, and schedules
• Manage intercompany transactions, cash flow, and multi-currency reconciliations
• Ensure IFRS compliance and enhance the quality and usefulness of financial reporting
• Analyse financial results, identify variances, and provide meaningful insights
• Support budgeting, forecasting, audits, and statutory reporting
• Work extensively in Excel and Sage (preferred) to manage and consolidate financial data
• Strengthen internal controls and drive process improvements
• Maintain proper documentation and support tax and compliance requirements

Requirements:
• BCom Accounting or equivalent qualification
• 3–5 years’ experience in a similar accounting role (multi-entity experience advantageous)
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, sumifs essential)
• Experience with Sage Accounting (advantageous)
• Strong understanding of financial processes and excellent analytical ability
• Highly organised, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently
• Comfortable in a fast-moving, evolving environment
