The General Construction Company Limited is currently seeking an experienced and skilled Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing (MEP) Coordinator to join our team and play a key role in ensuring the successful execution of our projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of mechanical and electrical activities to ensure alignment with project timelines and objectives.
- Confidently and assertively manage subcontractors to ensure work is completed on time and to the highest quality standards.
- Review and comment on shop drawings before submission for approval, ensuring they meet project specifications and standards.
- Create and manage processes to maintain quality control and assurance throughout the entire project lifecycle.
- Work closely with site management to ensure MEP works are integrated smoothly into the overall project programme.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience: 5 to 8 years of experience in MEP coordination within the construction industry.
- Technical skills: Proficiency in reviewing and coordinating mechanical and electrical works, with experience in using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or BIM being a significant advantage.
- Communication skills: Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage and coordinate subcontractors effectively.
- Problem-solving: Ability to anticipate issues and proactively manage challenges to keep projects on track.
- Attention to detail: A meticulous approach to reviewing drawings and ensuring quality assurance across all phases of a project.
- Dirivng license: a valid driving license would be an advantage.
