Assist in all the Kitchen operations as per SOPs

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

 

1Take part in training and implement accordingly
2Keep superior informed about all unusual matter concerning any plan affecting his/her area
3Adapt to unexpected situation
4Knowledgeable and compliant to Rules and Regulations prevaling in the Establishment
5Assist Chef de Partie to provide on the job training to subordinates  
6Ensure guests satisfaction during services
7Ensure the quality of food produced and served to guests are as per set standard
8Participate actively in Eco Standard/Sustainable Responsibility set by the hotel
9Assist Chef de Partie to establish and maintain effective employee relationship
10Minimize wastage and breakages
11Prepare requisitions according to requirements
12Ensure energy saving (electricity, gas, water)
13Comply with Quality Management System and S&H regulations and policies
14Receive and examine work programmes from superior
15Collect and check ordered food items from store
16Prepare “mise-en-place” of all foodstuffs as appropriate
17Start cooking by executing processes (fiches techniques) according to specificity of meal/pastry
18Check and control the proper storage of products, especially those freshly produced, checking on portion control, so as to maintain product quality and quantity
19Respect and apply SOP
20Ensure compliance to all safety standards
21Respect procedures for food handling purposes
22Participate in presentation & decoration of buffet
23Implement work schedules and ensures its application thereof by subordinates
24Ensure Tm’s grooming is in accordance with hotel’s standards
25Ensure the cleaning of the workplace
26Comply with all the sustainability commitments and practices implemented within business units
27Notify the Sustainable Development Department of any matters that may pose any impact to the environment and society
