Is responsible for providing support in the various Human Resources functions, which include recruitment, staffing, employee counseling, filing etc.Reporting to the Assistant Human Resources Manager / Human Resource Manager,
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinate staff recruitment and selection process to ensure a timely organized and comprehensive procedure is used to hire staff
- Screen candidates and review potential skill sets
- Schedule and organize applicant interviews. Be actively involved in recruitment
- Conduct reference checks on potential candidates
- Support the completion of documents, admin and post hiring recruitment acticvities as required
- Supporting the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems
- Providing counseling on policies and procedures
- Maintain accurate and up to date employee records including all employee filing
- Lead and manage various HR projects as directed by the Human Resources Management team and in line with HR objectives
- Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, bonus, leaves, etc) where required
- Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations etc)
- Assist with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties
- Provide clerical and administrative support to Human Resources colleagues and management
- Administration of Medical Insurance / Pension and Life Insurance
- Assisting with employee relations
- Hold regular briefings and meetings with colleagues at functional level to share information and resolve work issues
- Be present in the hotel on the floor to welcome questions and support
- Informs the Manager and / or Director, Human Resources of critical human resource situations and issues, as and when required
- Provides channels for employee grievances and suggestions
- Converses with team members whenever possible to obtain feedback and suggestions for improvement
- Follows complaint and other matters with the relevant authorities
- Initiates and oversees the organisation of Striver Award Ceremony (Quarter and Annual)
- Prepares monthly Head Count and other relevant HR reporting
- Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations and other personal information by maintaining confidentiality
- Any other cognate duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by the Human Resources Manager and / or Director to facilitate the smooth running of the hotel
- To prepare contracts of newcomers
- Liaise with the Ministry of Labour, recruitment agencies, EDB and an other appropriate 3rd party relevant to HR operations when required
- Any other cognate duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by the Human Resources Managerment team, Talent & Systems Manager and / or Human Resources Director to facilitate the smooth running of the hotel.
