Agiliss Ltd, a leading FMCG company based in Mauritius, is recruiting a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic operations team. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining and optimising our production and packaging lines.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting:

•	Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on milk powder packing machines, lentils packing machines, rice packing machines, and industrial air compressors.
•	Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and control system issues.
•	Conduct machine setup, adjustments, and calibrations to ensure optimal packaging performance.
•	Respond promptly to machine breakdowns to minimize downtime.

Operational Support

•	Assist production operators in smooth machine operation.
•	Provide technical support during production activities.
•	Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.

Documentation & Reporting

•	Record maintenance tasks in the maintenance logbook.
•	Report recurring faults and recommend solutions.
•	Maintain tools and spare parts inventory.

Continuous Improvement

•	Suggest improvements to increase machine efficiency and reliability.
•	Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.

Requirements

•	MITD Certificate/or equivalent in mechanical/electrical/maintenance field
•	2–3 years experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in food or FMCG manufacturing.
•	Knowledge of automated packaging machinery.
•	Troubleshooting of motors, sensors, gearboxes, pneumatic systems, and basic PLC controls.
•	Familiarity with VFDs and industrial automation systems.
•	Understanding of air compressor systems.
•	Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
•	Teamwork and good communication skills.
•	Attention to detail and strong safety mindset.
